Eliminate Worry

We spend a lot of time trying to figure things out with our human minds. Too often we try to fix things, improve things and change things all on our own strength without so much as even acknowledging God. Lately I've really been depending on Matthew 6:25-27 "That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?"

That scripture puts so much into perspective for me! He does not want me boggled down by life or it's problems. Why should I sit around worrying about what God has already taken care of? Why should I let the cares of this world consume me? 

1 Peter 5:7 NLT

"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you."

We often quote these scriptures but rarely act upon what we are told to do! Lately I've had to full on trust God for everything, from my bills to the food I eat and I have to say he hasn't let the bottom fall out. I'm learning that my hope can't be placed in my bank account, in jobs, titles and positions but only in Christ. Those things will fade, they can be gone tomorrow but he's so solid! 

He never changes, never fails, never gives up on us and I feel peace in just resting in him. No time for half way trusting him, gotta be whole hearted! I'm in position for whatever he has in store,  he doesn't do anything without purpose so I trust his plan for my life. I let go of the "randoms" I let go of my own ideas of what my life should be. He's faithful, he's just and he loves me too much to ever let me fall so I'm doing the trust fall on to him. 

He won't let me fall, he won't let me fall, he won't let me FALL! I challenge you to give up your life today, give up your plans and surrender them to him because I guarantee that his plans are better than yours. It's a faith thing, get you some! He loves you and I do too!- ️CDJ ❤️
